I’ve tried a few times over the years to get to know this album, but it keeps sitting there being aloof and uncommunicative until I eventually stand up and awkwardly say ‘Well, I should probably get going then…’ It’s getting embarrassing now.
This is quite frustrating because track one (the Royksopp remix of I Don’t Know What I Can Save You From) is so good it makes you believe the rest of the album is going to knock your socks clean off and into the laundry basket, but this is never quite the case.
We may yet get there though. The right mood, the chance appearance on shuffle and who knows, maybe it’ll make eye contact.
